Welcome to the Wild Side Sports website. We sell our products to you (both in store and online) subject to the terms and conditions listed here. Please read them carefully before making your purchase decision. By using this website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be revised at any time by us updating the website. Changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately after they are updated. We reserve the right to close any, or all, of the website at any time, and to amend or correct any website content, with or without prior notice.
Orders
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods:
- Online transaction (secure server),
- E-mail (unsecure),
- Telephone,
- Post, or
- Through our store.
All credit/debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Diners Club and Union Pay. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of your order.
No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid payment. For card payments, no orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.
General terms and conditions for website users and customers
By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, by telephone, by post or in store with Wild Side Sports Ltd.
References to the 'company', 'us' or 'we' will refer to Wild Side Sports Ltd. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to the Web Site shall include reference to all URL's owned by Wild Side Sports Ltd.
Delivery
Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the delivery services. Charges for different delivery services can by obtained from us on request. Delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice.
Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders/items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made an alternative, or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.
In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown by the customer to have not been received.
Delivery windows provided by our courier companies are an estimate only and may change due to issues outside of our control. These could include but are not limited to issues such as inclement weather or traffic delays. If you need a delivery by a specific date, we recommend you use a Named Day delivery service, which can be arranged on request.
Products
Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated and are not always available. Please note that not all stock will be available in-store and we recommend that you contact the store to check availability of the product before making a visit. Generally all items displayed on our site are available for dispatch. If any ordered goods are not readily available to us, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We will refund in full any payment made for such goods. Please note that until you receive your "Order Confirmation" e-mail, your order has not been confirmed.
Every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary. Wild Side Sports cannot be held responsible for any limitations of your monitor and cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour, texture, or detail of merchandise will be accurate/the same as the actual product.
Knives, Surfboards, Kayaks and Gas
Knives may only be sold to persons over 18. Proof of age must be provided before we ship the order. We will not deliver knives to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18, as applicable. We do not ship Surfboards, Kayaks or Gas. These items can be ordered online but must be collected in-store. By accessing this website you agree to the full terms and conditions covered herein.
Special orders
If we do not stock your preferred product, we can try our best to obtain the item directly from the supplier. However, the terms and conditions do change from standard stock and a special order:
We will require a 25% deposit on the product. As it is not a standard stock item, if unsuitable you will only receive 75% of your costs back via a refund.
Delivery can take 2-3 weeks.
You need to be exact on your preference of colour and size. No discount can be redeemed against a special order
The supplier may charge a postal cost for a one off order and small order charge may also be included

Gift Vouchers
Wild Side Sports Gift Vouchers can be purchased to any value between €5 and €1,000 and can be redeemed in multiple purchases until the balance is used. Wild Side Sports Gift Vouchers can be redeemed for goods in our store or online at wildsidesports.ie. However for Online Purchases Wild Side Sports Gift Vouchers purchased in-store and redeemed online must be sent to the store to be redeemed before an order can be completed.
Our vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or gift vouchers or be used as payment on an existing credit agreement.
For purchases in store, where Gift Vouchers used have a greater value than the goods being purchased, no change will be given above €5. Multiple Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the goods being purchased.
Gift Vouchers unless otherwise specified on the voucher will not expire. Gift Vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights. They should be treated as cash, as Wild Side Sports is unable to replace a gift voucher if lost or stolen. Wild Side Sports reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Voucher which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.
Wild Side Sports reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of Wild Side Sports Gift Vouchers if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary. Changes will be published in Wild Side Sports stores and online at wildsidesports.ie.
Returns
We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Wild Side Sports Ltd and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times.
If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please return your items to the store personally or you can post it to: Web Order Returns, Wild Side Sports, Unit 8 Bandon Retail Park, By-Pass Road, Bandon, Co. Cork, P72 KN32, Ireland together with the products original packaging and labeling within 30 days of the dispatch date. We will exchange your item for another size or another item or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate via the original payment method used. This includes items in the sale. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.
For the avoidance of doubt, on receipt of your order you may inspect the goods as if you were in our store. However, whilst you are deciding whether to retain your purchase, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please do not damage the goods whilst you inspect them or try them on for size (this also includes the packaging where it forms part of the goods, for example, boxed garments and gift items). You must ensure that you return the original undamaged packaging along with the item's you are unhappy with. Please note for health and safety reasons that all footwear must be returned in a clean and dry condition. We will not accept footwear in any other condition.
If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please return your items to the store personally or you can post it to: Web Order Returns, Wild Side Sports, Unit 8 Bandon Retail Park, By-Pass Road, Bandon, Co. Cork, P72 KN32, Ireland giving details of the fault together with the item in its original packaging, where possible, within 30 days. We will exchange the item or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate via the original payment method used.
Please note that returning goods is the responsibility of the customer (until we receive the goods) and the cost of returning goods must be covered by the customer. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.
Where a refund applies it will exclude any delivery charges applied by us in respect of the original order.
For card transactions, once the refund has been processed, please allow up to 5 working days for it to appear in your bank. During Christmas please allow up to 14 working days for refunds to be processed.
End Of Season Sale, SALE, Offers, etc.
End of Season Sale, SALE, Offers and other discounted items cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Unfortunately, promotional codes will not work for sale items. The discounts we usually offer to groups or affiliates are not available on sale items, offers or other discounted items as these products have already been substantially discounted.
When placing your order using a discount or promotional code, please be aware that the following exclusions apply:
- gift cards and vouchers,
- postage,
- Offers, previously discounted items, sale items and special order items. In addition, the offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Wild Side Sports offer or discount.
- ’Up to x% Off’ refers to the sale items as a whole and does not refer to specific products, categories or brands.
ONLINE
Online discounts and promotions vary from month-to-month. All discounts and promotions are valid online only and do not extend to our physical store.Wild Side Sports retain their right to withdraw any discount or promotion at any time without notice.
End of Season Sales will be announced as, and when appropriate, on our website. The percentage discount shown will be with reference to the full Recommended Retail Price (RRP) unless otherwise stated, applies to selected lines only and will only be available while stocks last. Sale pricing cannot be applied to transactions made before the sale has commenced.

We aim to keep this website up-to-date and relevant. We endeavour to create timely editorial to replace content that becomes out-dated or out-of-season, and move and expand portions of the site. We cannot guarantee that something you may have seen on a previous visit will still feature on our website when you visit again. We reserve the right to make changes to the website without prior notice.
Website Errors
We endeavour to present the most recent, most accurate, and most reliable information on our website at all times. However, there may be occasions when some of the information featured may contain incomplete data, typographical errors, or inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional and we sincerely apologise if erroneous information is reflected in merchandise price or item availability. We try to ensure that all pricing and stock availability on the website is accurate, but occasionally an error may occur and goods may be incorrectly priced or featured. If we discover that a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to suspend your order and contact you to ask whether you wish continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. We present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied. We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice. We apologise if stock errors occur, we update our stock regularly but unfortunately discrepancies do occur.
Website Access
Technology and the online environment can be unpredictable, and therefore Wild Side Sports does not warrant that the function or operation of this website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available will be free of viruses or other harmful elements. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction. As a visitor to, and user of this website, you must assume full responsibility for any costs associated with the servicing of equipment employed in connection with your use of our site. In effect, you agree that your access will be subject to these terms and conditions and that such access is undertaken at your own risk. Wild Side Sports shall not be liable for damages or losses of any kind that you may incur from your use of or inability to access this site.
Your Account and Orders
If you use the website, it is your responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of your account and password and that no unauthorised persons have access to them. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please note that Wild Side Sports has no records or access to any information you supply in your account including account log-in details. You should let us know immediately if you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner. Please ensure that your personal details are up-to-date and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. Wild Side Sports reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, you will be refunded. Please note when placing orders, we may contact you before dispatching your order. The most common reason for this is because the billing address details provided by the customer do not match the details that the customer's bank has on record for them. Please make sure that that the billing address you provide is the address that the card is registered to. Until this has been cleared up, we will not dispatch your order.
Guarantee
All products offered are guaranteed for a period of at least twelve months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in the Republic of Ireland. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights. By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ireland. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
Liability Statement
Climbing, mountaineering, hill walking, skiing, snowboarding, surfing and other related activities are potentially hazardous. It is the individual's own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these activities and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of the items posted on the Wild Side Sports internet site or sold within our store.
